“Living the Aloha Spirit” with Nurses Registry!

Mayfair residents celebrated National Nursing Home Week with an authentic Hawaiian luau with Nurses Registry.  Many residents and Stakeholders danced with hula hoops, learned hula hand movements, and ate fruit kabobs, Hawaiian punch, goldfish, and Mandarin orange cake baked by  Mayfair’s CC Craig.  A special thanks goes to Nurses Registry staff Lisa, Star, Chelsey, Erica, and Sylvester  for the party favors, food, decorations, and a fun time!  Hula Hoopers pictured are resident Debbie Harris,  Activities Assistant Jessica Yates, newly appointed Director of Maintenance for Danville Brett Williams, Dietary Assistant Kendahl Shoemaker,  SRNA Tamara Ray, and  PTAC Sylvester Peeples. Mayfair residents are enjoying different activities every day of National Nursing Home Week.  Harpist Mary Weatherford entertained on Mother’s Day; Dr. John Landon regaled residents and staff with Hawaiian music; residents will judge a “pulled pork” contest on Thursday; and sing karaoke on Friday which is Employee Appreciation Day.
